AlgoPlay

Coding meets mechanical engineering

AlgoPlay teaches the fundamentals of programming and mechanical engineering using the Algobrix system of coding boards and function blocks. Students assemble a building-block model, formulate code sequences with tangible or on-screen blocks, then hit “play” to watch their robot execute the program. Lessons advance through algorithm planning, conditioning, loops, multithreading, debugging, race conditions and sensor applications.

What kids learn

  • Algorithm planning and logical reasoning
  • Loops, conditions and multithreading
  • Debugging and race conditions
  • Sensors and robot commands
  • The logic behind modern coding languages

What kids build

Gadgets and games, amusement park rides, transportation machines, and modern robots that execute real tasks.
